Is the Fall Season the only time of year AYSO has soccer?
AYSO Region 127 San Marcos offers Fall Season soccer followed by regional playoffs, area playoffs and section playoffs. The playoff time applies to the upper divisions and is subject to team qualification. Our region also offers an Arena (indoor) soccer season typically played after the first of the year, staring around February. As the time approaches more info is posted on the web site. Additionally, any player registered with our region from the previous Fall Season play, will receive a postcard in the mail announcing the Arena season and inviting you to sign up! More information on Arena can be found on our web site at: www.sanmarcosayso.org/arena.htm

The region also participates in AYSO's Spring Select program. This play is generally for upper divisions. A Spring Select Coordinator is chosen each year from the applicants received (interested in applying? fill out an online application. click here ). Coaches are then selected from those expressing interest and they are allowed to form their own teams from currently registered players of the previous Fall Season. Games are played at home and away. This season typically coincides with the Arena season. Schedules and more information is generally posted on our regional web site as the season time approaches.
